Identify risks of practicing in the area of civil litigation and the forming and ending of the attorney-client relationship. Learn relevant, ethical risk control techniques, including the use of sample engagement letters, disengagement letters, non-engagement letters and conflict waivers.
The Hidden Risks of Business Transaction Practice
Identify risks of practicing in the area of business transactions and learn relevant and ethical risk control techniques to manage and minimize professional liability and ethical risks.
Ethical and Practical Tips for Cloud Computing and Social Media
Identify emerging technology risks in the practice of law and learn practical, ethical techniques and instruction on establishing a document retention policy for data stored in the “cloud,” safely and ethically utilizing social media in the practice of law, and establishing law firm networks to manage client privacy and confidentiality in the digital age and comply with all applicable rules of professional conduct.
